A) About horses:

1. What are the the 5 most common pathologies of horses? Mention them and give a little description too.

- Colic : Is a catchall name for several different serious digestive problems that commonly afflict horses. The condition can be caused by bad feeding, overfeeding, poisonous weeds, or/and overexercising.

- Heaves : This is a chronic respiratory inflammation frequently caused by an allergic reaction to airborne particles . It bears some resemblance to asthma in humans. RAO is most often seen in horses who are in their stable a lot and exposed to dust and molds from old hay and straw.

- Tetanus : is an acute, often fatal disease characterized by spasmodic contraction of muscles, especially those of the neck and jaw. It is caused by the bacteria found in soil and is ingested by the horse with grass.

- Laminitis : is an inflammation of certain internal structures of the hoof. This painful and serious condition causes lameness; the horse may lie down to try to relieve the pain in his hooves. The affected foot may feel hot to the touch. 

- Navicular disease: The most common cause of chronic front foot lameness is a corrosive ulcer on the navicular bone in the foot. It may be caused by a variety of things including improper shoeing or extensive work on hard ground.

- I choose this website because i like very much his presentation of the topic , and his style of the webside ,the information is very clear and precise as his classification , diet and digestion ,behaviour ,  types of and sheep milk and woll and also show comparative analysis of sheep, goat and cows milk,this is very educational and interesting !.

A Country I would like to visit

I always dreamed to travel to Turquía , I would like because I find it a very beautiful and  interesting country but the biggest reason is because they are located the Ruins of Troy,some people think that Troy did not exist and that is only a legend but in this country they found these!,  it fascinates me with its intriguing history and I would like to visit !

 What I know is Turquía is located  on the continent Asia and Europe , I also know it has a lot of rich history and its scenery is exotic and has several palaces, mosques and castles , besides their domesticated animals are the camel, buffalo and the Angora goat, it is very different to our country.

I have always heard of their cities as Capadocia , Estambul and I saw a documentary on these cities have a different landscape and relief what you see commonly, due to soil erosion by volcanoes, rivers and winds.

I would like to tour the entire country, its forests with their animals, and their seas with their unique species, and learn their ways

If I have the opportunity , I would like then to adapt to the country and its people , work and live there and be a contribution, in foundations or natural preservation ,as the White Tiger , that's what interests me !

• I choose this photo because i really love the cats .  they are splendid animals , in this picture the mom lick  a   little kitten , I think this is very cute the  love  that show and express !

• And the next picture is  of   a Bird in the Galapagos ,I  find it very interesting  because I don’t know much about  this species in this area  and their colors are so different  from  the rest of the birds.

A Picture I like .

I remember this day very well in my old house !  , my  sisters and me were very happy because it was the last day of school in 2009 , Uff jijiji ! and  we decided take this photograph  for my Mom of her three children :) , my sisters are very young and this day I was  baby-sitter.. jajaj.

 this photograph shows the three of us ,Lidia , Javiera and Amanda very close because are a beautiful  sisterhood and  I love these tiny people very much..jaja
I like this picture because is a simple but very beautiful moment !  And now I see them very little time of the week because I go to University and they go to school  and our  schedule is different .. but really enjoy of the  weekend
And also my mom likes it and she kept it for years and a little time ago  printed this picture and now she  has it  in the room .

I very like this show because my favorite animals are the cats ,in this show talk about main characteristic  !
and is very interesting topic to me because  my pet is a cat :D

2.-PUPPY BOWL

This show is so entertaining ! This puppys are adorable play with a bowl inside the stadium and the dogs are very cute

3.- Pit Bulls & Parolees

 This show is very comforting, because in this show  a family and  group the ex-convict ,  they come together to rescue and rehabilitate abused and abandoned pit bulls.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My Opinion :D

• What is your opinion about legalizing abortion in some cases?

           I disagree With This, I believe That abortion in cases of rape
       maybe allowed, but we take into account have to that it is a life and 
       would kill an innocent, and that's not fair.
       In other cases I think that people must take responsibility for their  
       actions and accept the consequences of these.

  

•  What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana?

       I am agree with the legalization of marijuana because in my opinion

       each person has the ability to choose between right and wrong,

       and until it is not legalized will be more tempting,and

       there are other drugs that do more damage and are available, as alcohol,
       cigarettes and drugs.

•  What is your opinion about owning an exotic pet?

       I think this is not right because pets are not a game are
       being taken out of their habitat, and not all are trained to
       have it and care of them. .. some exotic pet can be dangerous
       if you dont take precautions.

•  What is your opinion about women in the military?

       I believe there should be equality between men and women,
       for that reason if women choose this lifestyle
       should be treated equally and be respected for that
       because women are also trained for that.

• What is your opinion About Recycling?

      Recycling for me and should be for everyone,
      a very important acti1vity, it helps to keep the environment
      clean and healthy <3

Why do I want to be a vet?

When i was a child I loved the medicine, to be a obstetrics or a pediatrist, but later I wanted to be a teacher  or career related with children.

In my free time after to school I Decided for Veterinary Medicine because i really love animals, They are very vulnerable, I hope to give them help , care : 3! and  i took this option very confident with myself because with what I can learn to make a change in lives of beautiful animals

Until now I really love my career , in moments is very fun , interesting ,and others is hard and stressful :c , Anyway every day i like more ,  with   perseverance can ALL ! 

I like the idea of ​​working in the nature preserve and take care of animals in danger of extinction, and the environment  of the world :D
